Eleonora Rizzi studied Biotechnology at the University of Bari (BA, Italy) where she completed her Bachelor Degree in 2015. Then she moved to University of Parma (PR, Italy) where she completed her Master Degree in Biotechnology with a master thesis project named ‘Development and orthotopic implant of a decellularized stomach patch’. The thesis project was based on the 9 months experience, with the project Erasmus Traineeship, at University College London (UCL, London, UK) in Paolo De Coppi’s Lab.
In September 2018, Eleonora started her PhD at LBHE under the direction of Pr. Marie Pierre Dehouck and Dr. Caroline Mysiorek in the frame of Marie Curie ITN, NANOSTEM project. Her project consists in studying the permeation of nanoparticles using disease in vitro human BBB model.
